Thanks to the heads up by Easter, my family and I enjoyed a delightful Christmas concert The U.S. Marine Corp's Toys for Tots benefit Concert

The concert started off by the playing of our National Anthem.

What was great about this concert, besides the fact the toys and donations will benefit Hawaii's less fortunate children on Christmas morning, is the fact that they all played Christmas music; God was mentioned, God's son was mentioned; God's mother was mentioned. Hey, Jake Shimabukuro even selected Shubert's Ave Maria for his solo!

It was all for God and country!

Here are some photos from the event which featured some pretty wonderful guests!

Esther, thanks for this post! Wonderful!!!

We went upstairs because I thought you were going to watch up there... how funny!... I did have a feeling you decided to watch downstairs so you could take pictures. We found some good seats upstairs so we decided not to leave... Good for you! I am sooo glad you had fun!

Our favorite was Ave Maria... hard to guess, ha?! ;-)

Easter, thank you! Actually we were there so early we had a chance at good seats so we took them.

I liked that one a lot too. I also liked the 12 days of Christmas :-)
