Words of Wisdom by Blessed Mother Teresa

Blessed Mother Teresa
Thank you Sue.

Mother Teresa reportedly gave her Sisters the following rules to follow in order to practice humility:

1. Speak as little as possible about yourself;

2. Keep busy with your own affairs and not those of others;

3. Avoid curiosity;

4. Do not interfere in the affairs of others;

5. Accept small irritations with good humor;

6. Do not dwell on the faults of others;

7. Accept censures even if unmerited;

8. Give in to the will of others;

9. Accept insults and injuries;

10. Accept contempt, being forgotten and disregarded;

11. Accept injuries and insults;

12. Be courteous and delicate even when provoked by someone;

13. Do not seek to be admired and loved;

14. Do not protect yourself behind your own dignity;

15. Give in, in discussions, even when you are right;

16. Choose always the more difficult task.

Thank you for this important reminder, Mother Teresa has a way of stating the most difficult truths with love.

No wonder she's on her way towards sainthood (God willing).

Has anyone seen the movie put out not long ago about Mother Theresa? Great acting and well done I must say after just watching it! (It is available from Ignatius Press) She is an incredible woman! Thanks for posting this! God Bless!

Tracy: :-)
Maybe we should speak more in the defense of the defenseless.

Leticia: You're welcome.

Tito, She really was a living saint.

PB: Yes, our family saw it. We loved it. You should check out Olivia Hussey official website for an interesting info on her wanting to play Mother Teresa even though she isn't a Catholic.
