Book Banning is Back

This whole thing makes me sick! You have to hand it to the government for the sneaking way the will pull off their true agenda. God help us.

Properly Scared - Book Burning Censorship Under the Radar
The balance of the article is below–but as you read, consider how this “safety” law effectively bans books of patriotism and American culture written before liberal revisionists controlled the NEA and textbook publishing. Many of these books for children3-6 th grades describe a nation that believed in God, that prayed i school, a nation that went to church, where the church was a pillar of the community life…. Books of American heroes and pioneers with liberty in their veins….already many public schools have neglected George Washington as “irrelevant” to the modern life of American students.

It looks as if there is a loop hole - collectible books are okay. Collectible are ones that may be enjoyed by adults as well. I think this is highly subjective which is a good thing.

I hope they change this law soon! I think many will be too afraid not to take it to the limit, and trash all pre-1985 books.

Personally, I think the spirit of the law was not intended to wipe out all publications. The language does need to be amended.

I wonder how internet book sellers will respond? I buy all my older books online.

I don't think we'll get any pity from the extreme left - they would probably like the old ways being wiped out of our children's consciousness.

I read this and thought what BUNKUM! So here are my PC nursery rhymes.

The Mature age person in a shoe.

There was a mature age person who lived in an alternative housing of her choice. She had so many children that she needed the help of family services. She gave them some broth without any bread then sat and spoke about how not to make bad choices and then put them to bed. LOL;)

Humpty a person of indeterminate weight
sat on a wall
Humpty (as above)
had a great fall.
All the kings horses who contacted PETA and all the Kings men who contacted the nearest lawyer
Sued the owner of the wall where Humpty of indeterminate weight had a great fall. LOL;)

It is getting ridiculous, they worry about books...HECK have they seen what is shown on MTV? And kids watch that show? Madness, total madness!

Peace, JOY & Love to you Esther
