Wow, I can't believe it!! The Police are going to Hawaii on February 16th!

I saw them in concert in Atlantic City when I was 21. These guys were terrific! I know most all the girls had a thing for Sting. But for me it was the drummer Stewart Copeland.

Now there are two things keeping me from immediately buying tickets on Saturday:

1) Convincing my DH that they are worth the prices they are charging to see a bunch of middle-age rockers :-). Tickets will be $225, $95 and $75 x 3 and

2) The start of Lent next year.

Warren Zevon and Baptism of Desire

Robert Parsons was an English composer of liturgical music in the late Renaissance (Tudor era, he died in 1570). Here are some of his compositions to download or to print for a choir presented by Columbia University's Vox Ensamble. Live concert, so occasional coughs or paper rustling is heard - but boy - is this gorgeous!!

If I were you, I'd go for the finest piece in the collection and listen to the absolutely heavenly Ave Maria (listed under 'Sound Recordings')
