This devotion to the Sacred Heart is prayed on the regular Marian Rosary of 59 beads.
On the Crucifix, say the following prayer:
"Angel of God, my guardian dear, To whom God's love commits me here, Ever this day be at my side, To light and guard, to rule and guide."
On the first bead (normally the "Our Father"), say:
"O Eternal Father, I offer Thee the Blood, Passion and death of Our Lord Jesus Christ and the sorrows of Our Blessed Lady and St. Joseph in reparation for my sins, in suffrage for the souls in Purgatory, for the wants of our Holy Church, and for the conversion of sinners."
On the three beads (normally the "Hail Marys"), say:
"My God, I believe in Thee. My God, I hope in Thee. My God, I love Thee with my whole heart, and for Thy sake I love my neighbor as myself."
On each of the single beads of the 5 decades, (normally an "Our Father"):
"Jesus, meek and humble of heart, make my heart like unto Thine. O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for me."
On the 5 sets of 10 beads (Normally the "Hail Marys"), say:
"Sweetest Heart of Jesus, I implore, that I may love Thee more and more. Sweet Heart of Mary, be thou my salvation."
When you have concluded, say
"Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, I give you my heart and soul.
Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, assist me now and in my last agony.
Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, may I breathe forth my soul in peace with you."
O Saint Padre Pio, holy bearer of the Wounds of Christ, accept us this day as your spiritual sons and daughters and keep us always on the narrow path by your intercession. And do thou, O our Spiritual Father, stay there at the Gates of Heaven until all of your spiritual children have entered through, even and including us. Through Christ our Lord, Amen.
Heavenly Father, your divine Son taught us to pray to the Lord of the harvest to send laborers into His vineyard.
We earnestly beg you to bless our Diocese and our world with many priests and religious who will love you fervently and gladly and courageously spend their lives in service to your Son's Church, especially the poor and the needy.
Bless our families and our children, and choose from our homes those who you desire for this holy work.
Teach them to respond generously and keep them ever faithful in following your Son Jesus Christ, that under the guidance of the Holy Spirit and with the inspiration of Saint Damien and Blessed Marianne the Good News of redemption may be brought to all. We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Jesus, Savior of the world, sanctify Thy priests and sacred ministers.
Prayer to the Holy Spirit
Breathe in me O Holy Spirit that my thoughts may all be holy; Act in me O Holy Spirit that my work, too, may be holy; Strengthen me O Holy Spirit to defend all that is holy; Guard me then O Holy Spirit that I always may be holy.
