The Susan B. Anthony List reminded me that today is National Adoption Day. To all you families who were blessed to be able to adopt a child, this day is for you...and for us!
I know that St. Joseph is considered Jesus foster father and I never understood that. I like to think of him as Jesus' adoptive father.

Maybe Joseph isn't called the adoptive father because God never gave up his parental rights! :)
