Because of this post, I stopped what I was doing, got the parish bulletin and wrote out two appointments to go to Adoration.
I have never, ever done this before.

My question is how bad an idea is it to take my five year son with me?

I went on Wednesday afternoon alone, and Friday evening with my six-year-old daughter. I have made my intentions for four times for June. I'm not yet brave enough to take my five-year-old son. He has no still mode of being. Pray for us!

Thank you again for this post, it is giving me strength.

That is just wonderful Katherine. Thanks for letting us know. Just a tip for your younger child, Jesus wouldn't mind if you brought along a few little children's books, etc to keep him occupied while visiting. Some homeschooling parents let their kids do their homework in front of the Blessed Sacrament. Just a suggestion...
