PRAYER FOR OUR MEN AND WOMEN IN MILITARY SERVICE
O Prince of Peace, we humbly ask Your protection for all out men and women in military service. Give them unflinching courage to defend with honor, dignity and devotion the rights of all who are imperiled by injustice and evil. Guard our churches, our homes, our schools, our hospitals, our factories, our buildings and all those within from harm and peril. Protect our land and its peoples from enemies within and without. Grant an early peace with victory founded upon justice. Instill in the hearts and minds of men and women everywhere a firm purpose to live forever in peace and good will toward all. Amen.
Queen of the Holy Rosary, we implore you to bless our military forces at home and abroad. Guide their steps into the way of peace. Amen.

I wqas reading only the other day abour a British Father whose son was shot dead in Afghanistan while trying to keep the peace, that Britain is apalling at honouring it's military sevice men and women. Not only doens;t it give thm the right materials for the job, the right vehicles that are safe to use, but it doens't hardly bat an eye when it's citizens are killed.
It's a good thing to remember all who serve our countries in this way.
