I had a Hawaiian Luau in honor or Saint Damien for my dad in March and I was wondering if there is a special celebration done on the island for Saint Damien? Aloha Jessica: What a wonderful way to celebrate on the mainland! When it is Saint Damien's feast day their is a big get together in front of his statue (in front of the State Capitol) then Mass at the Cathedral. There are other celebrations all over the islands.
