ReplyDeleteHe is an incredible saint Padre!
ReplyDeleteSt.Peter Julian Eymard - a great Saint of the Eucharist
ReplyDeleteA., Oh my goodness yes!!! How was he omitted. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteThere's also the Franciscan saint Saint Paschal Baylon, who's the patron of Eucharistic congresses and confraternities, and Saint Pius X, sometimes called the "Pope of the Blessed Sacrament".
ReplyDeleteThanks so much A.
ReplyDeleteSt. Tarsicius was killed b/c he refused to surrender the Blessed Sacrament to an angry mob; Blessed Imelda, the 11-year old who died of ecstasy after receiving her first holy communion; st juliana of liege, who was instructed by christ to institute the feast of corpus christi.
ReplyDeleteMahalo Diana.
ReplyDeletePerhaps a List of Marian Sts. List on The Eucharist?
ReplyDeleteLoretta, you mean a list of saints devoted to our blessed mother? Good idea!
ReplyDeleteFor shame, you left out one of my favorite saints. St. Norbert. I would not drink a live spider as he did.
ReplyDeleteSt. Thomas Aquinas and Blessed Fr. James Alberione were great Eucharistic Saints! St. Thomas wrote the Eucharistic Hymns for Benediction. And Bl. Fr. James Alberione founded the Pauline Family after spending a night in prayer before the Blessed Sacrament. All 10 orders he founded have a big devotion to the mass and daily Eucharistic Adoration.
ReplyDeleteThat is wonderful. Thank you Jackie.
