I feel for our beloved Holy Father when one considers that he had longed for a quiet life. Living with his brother and writing books. But God has designs for this great Soldier of Christ. Thanks be to God.

Marie, I know what you mean. All he wanted to do is read, write and play the piano and there he is thrust into the public eye as our vicar of Christ (which I am so happy he is).

Esther:) it is so reassuring that we are in safe hands and also kind hands. As Cardinal Ratzinger there were so many who hated him or called him 'God's Rottweiler'I never did understand that...He has always spoken the Truth,when did that become criminal?
