My 4th daughter was named Rose after St Rose of Lima & being born on the Feast of the Holy Rosary. We decided on Rose on hearing St Rose of Lima's mother had endured no labour pains giving birth to Rose, the only painless one out of 9 children. My Rose was born with one push 9lb at home with no labour pains..the only one painless out of 10!

Oh Jackie, that is a wonderful story on how you named your daughter!
ReplyDeleteThank you Mimi and Happy Feast Day to you too. I have a soft spot in my heart for home born babies too.
