Giving Credit Where Credit is Due - Live Earth

Although, I did not watch the concert, nor had any desire to watch the concert, I did read articles regarding the upcoming world event. In the local paper here in New Jersey, the editorial page had pointed out that the NYC portion would be held at the Meadowlands....New Jersey...but that New York would get the credit. It was therefore very good to see two fellow New Jerseyans stand up and be proud of the Garden State.
The following quotes are from the Paterson Herald News:

And East Orange's Zach Braff ("Scrubs") made clear that the Giants Stadium event was taking place in the "beautiful state of New Jersey." Later Jon Bon Jovi reinforced Braff's observation when he encouraged the crowd to "let them know what New Jersey is all about."
