The Rosary - There is No Repetition in "I Love You"

The Beautiful Truth is there is no Repetition in "I love you"

Because there is a new moment of time, the words do not mean the same as before. Love is never monotonous. The mind is infinitely variable in its language, but the heart is not.

The heart of man in the face of the woman he loves is too poor to translate the infinity of his affection into different words. So the heart takes but one expression "I love you." and saying it over and over again, it never repeats. It is the only real news in the universe.

That is what we do when we say the Rosary. We are saying to the Holy Trinity, to the Incarnate Savior, to the Blessed Mother, "I love you." "I love you." "I love you."

Having reflected on this beautiful prayer, Our Lady gave us , we can see why St. Padre Pio often said, "It is Our Lady who gave us the rosary, but the devil is always trying to take it away from us! Don't ever let him do it?

  3. It's a small, small world...
Two of my daughters are also members; our parish is quite active with it, as well ~ lucky me! :)
I have never been in a formal cell, tho' (too busy w/ the family I suppose) but I joined years ago when we lived in Detroit & all we had was one son.
Things sure picked up after that! lol
But Theresa, Laura & I have always thought of the three of us as a cell, anyways...
God bless your efforts to further the wishes of His Mother!
