  1. This is (as always) such a treat! I love the quotes. I was trying to decide which of the paintings stood out the most in my mind after I'd looked through them all. And, i think the ones that remained the most vivid were Michaelangelo, Hopper, and O'Keefe's. Michaelangelo's quote stood out the most, though.

  3. Aah, FAF!
In visiting today, I am grateful for the work and time you took to compile this for today, Esther.
    Thanks you.

re:van Gogh...I can relate this to my knitting!

re: Picasso..spiritual application here! As a Christian I trry to live like a spiritual giant, taking the virtues of the saints as my example as well as the imitation of Christ.
But it is as I mature in the faith that I am learning to live and walk as a CHILD!!!!

But the visual, artistic example that appealed to me today was the poppy!
My neighbor has a few poppies that blooom , and I await the colorful event every year..especially the coral/salmon color. Last year it was so disappointing because not only did his not bloom, but the neighbor's across the street also!
This FAF print just whetted my appetite for this year's blooming.
Maybe I will send for some poppy bulbs of my own for next year's event!
Blessings to you and your family!
