I had to look up "Mahalo", :-) and yep, it's the right word for me to send back to you.

Thanks to your help, the traffic on our site has shot up to about 10X normal. Lots of good things happening here.

Oh my, you do have a popular blog, and lots of readers who listen to what you have to say!

When Catholic-Talk site finally becomes bigger than Facebook, :-) you can say you were the one that started the little snowball rolling down the hill.

Thanks again Esther, you're the Mom!

3 Thank you Esther for the link. What a great idea.

I hope Catholics will take advantage of this opportunity. Kathy and Phil came up with a great concept. It will be exciting to see the site grow.

I do wonder if the Tanny's will attempt to keep the site faithful to the teachings of the church. That's important to me.

Hi Mary Ellen and Esther,

As explained on our Mission Statement page, the goal of Catholic-Talk is to be welcoming to all Catholics.

As you know, there are about a billion Catholics, and it's inevitable there will be a diversity of views within any group this large. It's our intention to serve whoever shows up as best we can, just as your local Catholic church shares Mass with whoever fills the pews.

Although the philosophy for the entire network is to be welcoming to all Catholics, users on our system may decide to use their accounts to serve a specific segment of the Catholic community.

So for instance, if someone wished to start a forum that was limited only to those who declare their loyalty to the Magisterium, that's fine with us. We don't require that each of our users adopt the same open policy that we use for the network as a whole. Each user is free to set their own policy in that regard.

I hope this is helpful, and please allow me to say that we do sincerely appreciate your interest and the support that's been offered here.

Phil

Thank you Phil for the clarification. I posted a review of your new site on my blog, also.

I think you are filling a real need, and pray for your success.
