For Catholic Youth - YOUNG KNIGHTS OF ERRANTRY

Knight
Sue emailed me about this site.

The following is from the website:

The Young Knights of Errantry is an organization for young men and women ages 7-17 who desire to be True and Chivalric Knights dedicated to the service of the Lord. Their purpose is to defend the lives of all people, born and unborn, to help and protect the innocent who are violated, abused, and neglected, to go to the aid of those in distress and despair, and to seek justice for all. They are a voice in defense of those who are ill, who have a disability, or who are defenseless. They are advocates of all those whose lives are threatened by others. With a spirit of love and concern, they are committed to this cause. Therefore, the Young Knights of Errantry possess a dedication that encourages them to pray;

"Lord, teach me to be generous,
to serve you as you desire,
to give and not to count the cost,
to fight and not to heed the wounds,
to toil and not to seek for rest,
to labor and not to ask for any reward,
except to know I do your Will."

(Composed by Ignatius of Loyola)

This is the Quest of the Young Knights who venture into the known and unknown, to make possible what seems impossible, and to battle with courage the Dragons afflicting humanity.
