A Simple Woman's Day Book

Simple Woman

A Simple Woman's Day Book

For Today...

Outside my Window...the sun is breaking through the clouds.

I am thinking...about something I asked my DH for and he acquiesced much to my surprise and happiness.

From the learning rooms...12th English and History, blogging and piano practice.

I am thankful for...the friendly pastor and people at Daily Mass.

From the kitchen...BLT and Jook (Chinese rice soup) my friend shared with us.

I am wearing...EWTN t-shirt and denim shorts

I am reading...S is for Silence by Sue Grafton and An Introduction to the Devout Life by St. Francis de Sales (which I highly recommend to everyone...Catholics and non-Catholics alike).

I am hoping...healing for both my BIL's parents who are suffering from cancer. Please keep them in your prayers.

I am creating...lots more room in our home by getting rid of a lot of stuff.

I am hearing...DS sneezing, aquarium filter

Around the house...it is a quiet early afternoon. My favorite part of the day.

One of my favorite things...is sending Hawaiian care packages to family members who still have not visited us.

A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week...40 Days for Life Vigil and prayer this week, eye exam and new glasses, and other things.

Here is a picture thought I am sharing with you...

Dad and JoeyThis is a picture of my dear FIL Isidore and Joey a few years back.
