On the Fat Chance... (Meme)
...that I am ever canonized...
I hope my loved ones will be able to come up with better photos than I was able to do. But for now I have to rely on these two. I am too lazy busy to scan better ones of me.
Well, anyway, I am jumping the gun. That oh so amusing Karen has tagged me for this unusual meme. "what picture I would use for my holy card, should I make it to saint, and of what cause(s) I wanted to be patroness."
I guess this one of me as a little girl would be my first choice because I look angelic (she says as she rolls her eyes) and we all know saints are holy and perfect ;-)
This one below would be my second choice. This is a photo of me with my faithful companion, my dog. This dog who loves me more than anyone in this world. That is unless you are the person holding a treat. I would like to join St. Martin de Porres and St. Francis of Assisi and be the patron saint of animals. After all the stray dogs, cats, birds, turtles and a skunk, that I have rescued. It is the least the Vatican can do. LOL. Just kidding. But I do love animals that much.
Realistically, I would probably be named the patron saint of impatient moms and wives. Just ask my DS or DH. Even our bishop once called me on that. I asked DH to kiss the bishop's ring and the bishop replied.."yeah Dan, hurry up and after you're finished, I want you to do the dishes, mop the floor". He was kidding folks!

Ok- The moment I thought I'd just take a quick picture of my messy desk and coffee mug and try to be patron of overscheduled, highly caffeinated, techno-moms the 7 year old brought me the camara: it had been dropped and broken!
I guess someone else will have that spot!
